Dear BITSA Team,

I would like to thank you for your very prompt analysis of our dogs breeding history.

Reginald and Gemma are both from the RSPCA so we have always been somewhat curious as to their exact make-up.

Gemma’s results have presented three breeds, one of which we would never have guessed; Bichon Frise. Since undertaking some background research, we recognise many traits that match her behaviour. We are also pleased this breed has a long life, so are confident Gemma will be with us for many years to come.

I think we always knew Reginald was primarily a Rottweiler, but glad this was acknowledged; if anything so we don’t look like fools, as that’s what we tell everyone.

I have attached some photos of our ‘furry children’ and on behalf of them and us, say thank you for helping us, to learn more about our cherished pets.

Dear Emma,

Thank you for taking the time earlier today to discuss the DNA test results for our dog "Floyd".

Being a mixed breed and an unusual looking dog, our family and friends often speculated about Floyd’s genetic make-up and after getting the BITSA Breed identification test done, we now know for certain about his breeding background.

Everybody, from our family vet to the dog's home from where we got him, took a guess at his breed mix, and boy were there some wild guesses? We always suspected there was some Staffordshire terrier in his breeding and the BITSA test confirmed this, once and for all. It also confirmed the other dominant breeds, which were a surprise to us.

The BITSA Breed Identification test is brilliant, unbelievably easy for the owner to do and the results and information supplied is very comprehensive. Now knowing the true genetic make-up of our pet dog helps us understand him much better, particularly knowing more about established traits and behaviours.

Thank you GTG Labs for this wonderful service, I only wish this were available twenty years ago.
